IN a bid to continue strengthening ties through arts and entertainment songstress Eleana Makombe, through her Grateful Experience brand, has partnered with Botswana production powerhouse Bravehearts (Pvt) Ltd for her concert set for next month in Botswana.
Eleana is expected to stage Grateful Experience 3.0 with her team, which includes Everton Mlalazi, Sipho Snowy, Janet Manyowa, Tlotlo Lenstwe, Omega Khundu, Minister Micheal Mahendere and Takesure Zamar, among others.
The event is being hosted at the Gaborone International Convention Centre.
It was last held at the Birmingham International Convention Centre and Harare International Conference Centre.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Bravehearts official, Joe Manuel, said they were happy to partner Grateful Experience 3.0 to host the show and this was part of their plans to continue penetrating the African market.
“We are happy to be working with Eleana and this has been our dream to continue promoting entertainment in Africa through events management.
“We will be working a lot in the production of the concert.
“Our partnership will go a long way as we are planning to visit Zimbabwe after this as we will be hosting the Joyous Celebration Choir in October,” he said.
Grateful Experience management’s John Makombe said the partnership was huge.
“They will be working with the Events Evolution team, and we are excited that they are on board.
“We did a background check and they are the guys to work with if you need quality production.
“They have done State functions and hosted big names in the arts sector. We are looking forward to working with them and also hosting them,” he said.
Makombe announced that preparations for Grateful 3.0 Botswana were underway and artists have started their rehearsals.
“We have been to Botswana where we were checking the venue and logistics and Eleana is happy about it.
“The artists have started their rehearsals with some jetting into Zimbabwe to use the Grateful studio.”
