Gweru gets new town clerk

THE City of Gweru has announced the appointment of Mr Livingstone Churu as its substantive town clerk.

In a statement, Gweru Mayor Clr Martin Chivhoko, councillors, chamber secretary Mr Owen Masimba and council management congratulated Mr Churu on his appointment.

“The mayor for the City of Gweru, Clr M. Chivhoko, councillors, chamber secretary Mr O. Masimba and management are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr L.Churu as the substantive town clerk for the City of Gweru,” read the statement.

“We warmly congratulate Mr Churu on his appointment and look forward to his leadership in driving the city’s development forward.”
