Harare City Council to engage Ward 7 residents on service delivery

WARD 7 residents are expected to attend a service delivery feedback meeting tomorrow to discuss key municipal issues affecting their communities.

The meeting will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Highlands from 5pm.

Residents will have an opportunity to engage council officials on a range of service delivery concerns, including water supply, sewer and drainage systems, road maintenance, billing, town planning and development control, noise from churches and restaurants, traffic management, public lighting and the enforcement of by-laws against illegal vending by the Harare Municipal Police.

Harare Ward 7 encompases northern and northeastern suburbs including Highlands, Newlands, and Chisipite and is represented by Deputy Mayor and Councillor Rosemary Muronda
