Harare Mayor Mafume, Shadreck Mashayamombe arrested

Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and former Harare South legislator Shadreck Mashayamombe were arrested by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission this afternoon.

This was confirmed by ZACC Commissioner Kindness Paradza, and more information will be availed soon.

However, when contacted for comment, Mafume and Mashayambe denied being arrested.

Mafume claimed to be at his office, while Mashayamombe said he was at his home in Belvedere.
