A Harare woman, Mrs Martha Mahachi (40), who has a brain tumour, is seeking US$325 to undergo an urgent CT brain scan and to cover related medical examinations.

A proforma invoice obtained at MIC Milton Park on December 10, 2025, showed that the CT brain scan will cost US$250.

Additional laboratory tests at Lancet Laboratories, detailed in a separate invoice dated December 5, 2025, amount to US$75.

The examination is necessary to assess the extent of Mrs Mahachi’s tumour and guide further treatment.

Delays in having the scan done will result in Mrs Mahachi’s condition deteriorating further.

Mrs Mahachi’s medical records from Harare General Hospital’s X-ray Department, dated September 25, 2025, indicate a clinical diagnosis requiring urgent brain imaging.

Doctors have recommended a non-contrast CT scan to evaluate her condition.

Contributions can be made directly to the listed medical accounts to ensure timely access to the procedures, or contact her husband: +263780691590
