HEAVENS MUTAMBIRA HINTS ON GRATEFUL EXPERIENCE 3.0

WITH just two weeks to go before the much-publicised ‘Grateful Experience 3.0’ scheduled to take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom, one of the artists can barely wait for the show.

Gospel musician Heavens Mutambira who will share the stage with a star-studded line up which includes The Cherayi’s, Minister Micheal Mahendere, Takesure Zamar, Everton Mlalazi, Lebo Sekgobela, Sipho Ncube, Blessing Jedthun, Spirit of Praise and host Eleana Makombe.

Mutambira, who is based in the UK, is currently back home for rehearsals at Grateful Studios, where he is also working on a surprise track with Eleana Makombe.

Mutambira said he is happy to be back home and is also happy with how gospel music is evolving.

“This will be my first time performing at the Grateful Concert and, so far, everything is going according to plan. We are happy the script is taking shape and I thank Eleana for engaging me,” he said.

“The gospel industry is evolving and I am convinced that it is in a safe space due to how local artists are investing in the genre.

“We have seen wonders when it comes to hosting gospel shows.”

Show host Eleana said preparations for the event were at an advanced stage with all artists confirming their participation.

“We are happy that rehearsals are in place and everyone is in Harare, some have flown from South Africa and the United Kingdom to make sure it is all systems go.

“We have surprises on the day and I am excited about this year’s edition as it is not only about music but culturally uniting nations as we have people from Nigeria, Ghana, United States and South Africa already buying tickets,” she said.

Eleana added:

“My management team is working on the logistics and I would say we are now at 90 percent.”
