MODEL Hillary Mandaba is seeking public support for the People’s Choice award.
The winner will be guaranteed a place in the Top 20 semi-finals of the Manhunt International.
Hillary will represent Zimbabwe at the global male pageant and model search scheduled for September 3 to 9 in Sri Lanka.
He will compete against contestants from more than 50 countries.
The People’s Choice competition gives contestants an opportunity to secure an automatic semi-final place through engagement on the official Manhunt International Facebook and Instagram platforms.
Hillary was crowned Manhunt Zimbabwe 2026 earlier this year.
Hillary said his commitment is to make a huge difference.
He said his rise in the pageantry world has been nothing but a learning curve each time he wins a title.
“A man of remarkable range, I have built a distinguished presence across the fields of modelling, environmental advocacy, fashion, media, and community development.
“My accolades speak to my commitment to excellence.”
He was crowned Mr BUSE in 2023.
Hillary went on to claim the Mister of Zimbabwe 2024 King crown and later represented the nation as Mister Tourism World Zimbabwe 2024.
Hillary believes that each accolade reflects not only his commanding stage presence but also his ability to connect with audiences on a deeper level.
As an Enactus Zimbabwe 2023 Multi-Award Winner and recipient of the Ignite Youth Award for Best Pollution Prevention and Recycling, Hilary said that his influence stretches far beyond fashion and modelling.
He said his work in environmental sustainability and youth empowerment speaks to a generation eager for change and willing to lead it.
Hillary is part of a growing movement that blends creativity with consciousness.
He said his designs are not only stylish but intentional, promoting eco-friendly practices in an industry often criticised for waste.
Founded in 1993, Manhunt International is regarded as one of the longest-running international male pageants and model searches, providing a platform for male models and contestants to develop careers in modelling, entertainment, business and advocacy.
The People’s Choice vote, however, gives ordinary Zimbabweans a direct role in his campaign, with every eligible engagement potentially contributing to his chances of reaching the semi-finals.
