THE teenage girl, who was allegedly raped by Holy Ten in Hatfield on Monday, met the Hip Hop star on social media, according to sources.

The 14-year-old was staying in South Africa at the time she linked up with Holy Ten, who was arrested on Monday, in connection with the crime.

She had just returned home from South Africa.

Holy Ten is being accused of allegedly raping the teenage girl once, without protection, in his bedroom in Hatfield, Harare.

The ‘Banga’ hitmaker, whose real name Mukudzei Chitsama, 27, allegedly threatened to kill the teenager if she resisted his sexual attack.

Sources said Holy Ten had initially promised the girl that she was going to feature in his upcoming video.

On Monday, at around 3pm, the teenager called Holy Ten and advised him that she wanted to come to the studio.

She was in the company of her friend when she went to Avondale, where Holy Ten was recording his music.

They waited for him to finish.

Later, her friend went home while the teenager and Holy Ten went to the artist’s house in Hatfield, ‘to record videos’.

He then allegedly raped her once.

Sources said there were other people at Holy Ten’s house at the time of the incident.

They were in other rooms and he is alleged to have locked his bedroom door before raping her once.

Holy Ten allegedly hired a taxi for the teenager and she went home.

When she arrived home, she revealed the abuse to her aunt, leading to Holy Ten’s arrest.

National police spokesperson Commissioner, Paul Nyathi, confirmed the arrest.

Holy Ten has a string of controversial episodes and is expected to appear in court today.

He has in the past been accused of using controversy to “fuel” his career and remain relevant in the music industry.

He has had numerous rows with his fellow musicians and once told fellow musician Takura that fans had long “forgotten” him.

“Takura thinks being low-key will make him Winky G but people are actually forgetting him,” he once wrote on one of his many social media handles.

Given Takura had just recovered from drug and substance abuse, there were many who felt that Holy Ten’s attack was both unnecessary and below the belt.

At one stage, he even threatened to “end” the career of Winky D.

During an online television interview, the singer revealed that he had sent a direct message to Winky D, declaring he was going “to end his career”.

He labelled Winky D a “snake”, accusing him of deception and manipulation.

He also clashed with Voltz JT and publicly criticised Jah Prayzah.
