DECORATED gospel diva, Dorcas Moyo, has vowed to take a firm stand against cyberbullies in 2026, despite the challenges they posed last year that ultimately made her stronger.

The multiple award-winning praise and worship artiste reflected on her tumultuous 2025, during which social media trolls nearly broke her spirit.

“I had an eventful, yet nasty year in 2025, where social media trolls nearly shattered my heart but ultimately made me stronger than ever,” she shared.

“As we enter 2026, the narrative will be entirely different, as the trolling hasn’t ceased.

“We will certainly deal with them because the bullying smear campaign hasn’t stopped.”

Recently, she encountered a malicious post claiming an affair with a top gospel artiste, which she found particularly hurtful.

“I didn’t take such malice lightly. One day, I will take action against such lunatics, and I warn those peddling lies on social media that I was genuinely hurt by their posts.

“I don’t know what some people what to achieve with those hurtful posts because I am also human.”

She urged individuals to use social media responsibly and to consider the impact of their posts on others.

“The trolling has spiralled out of control. When someone spreads falsehoods, such as the claim about my alleged relationship, I won’t take it lightly again.”

Dorcas has since reached out to her management team to deliberate on the appropriate course of action against the malice.

“One of them will regret it, as there are laws in place to protect us at this moment.”

With the 2026 season now underway, Dorcas has begun working on new material.

“The production of the 2026 album has started, and we are not stopping despite the haters trying to spoil the new season,” she stressed.

“I have witnessed the power of the Lord, and I am here to serve Him by pursuing His work.

“A series of shows and tours has been lined up and more will be revealed in due course as we have just started the new year.”

She has vowed to continue collaborating with big stars, having already worked with sungura ace Alick Macheso on the track “Mhanza Haisekwi,” which further boosted her social media following.

After amassing several awards both locally and regionally last year, she is also anticipating the same in 2026.

“Last year, we worked hard and bagged several awards both locally and regionally, which is a plus for my career.

“I look forward to surpassing that rare feat, and I am confident it can be done with the grace of God.

“I am also a hard worker who rarely disappoints, and I leave it to God, who has blessed my musical journey,” she stated.

Last year, she made history at the launch of her 10th album titled “Mugeri Tsvatu,” held in Mutare, where big names showed up and performed.

For a modest and simple gospel musician, attracting those names was a rare feat in showbiz.

These top stars included Leonard Zhakata, Macheso, Suluman Chimbetu, King David (formerly Baba Harare), Aston “Mbeu” Nyahora, Fungisai Zvakavapano and Mai Charamba among others.

Hosting these household names has shown how connected Dorcas is, while the power of collaborations has yielded results.

“The same script is expected in 2026, which is fresh.

“I have good relations with fellow musicians from other genres perceived as secular music, and we all share the same vision as creatives.

“We are all preachers in our own right, and I am happy that we will shatter new records and be counted among the elite,” asserted the diva.
