RISING drill musician, Trevor Gevha, is set to drop his highly-anticipated EP,”ADTM” (Anti-Drug Trafficking Movement) today.
The five-track project is aimed at inspiring youths to overcome drug and substance addiction.
The lead single, ‘‘Selfcare,’’ which was released yesterday, will serve as an anthem for young people to take control of their lives and priorities.
In an interview, Trevor emphasised the importance of self-care.
“If Saintfloew, Blot, and Holy Ten can overcome, why can’t we?
“TheADTM EP includes tracks like “Mageez”, “Zvandiri”,”Reality Facts” and “Munataisireva.
“They share the same theme of breaking free from addiction and embracing a brighter future.
“It’s a call to action, urging listeners to change the narrative, delay the damage, and create a future where everyone can thrive,” he said.
Trevor said he encountered financial hardships while compiling his EP but it was a blessing as it enabled him to craft his work perfectly.
“I thought this was the end of me as I exhausted my coffers.
“There was a time when I stopped going to the studio and I went back to the drawing board and wrote some of my songs even better.
“It was a time of silence, without rushing to compete with other artists, because perfection and uniqueness is what sells these days,” he said.
