Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Zhemu Soda has given thumbs up to Zimpapers, the country’s largest diversified media house, saying its operations are in line with President Mnangagwa’s vision of leaving no one and no place behind.

Dr Soda was today led on a familiarisation tour of the company’s operations by Chief Executive Officer Mr William Chikoto, where he expressed satisfaction with the company’s operations.

“I am happy with the way they are covering the whole nation, ensuring that no one and no place is left behind,” said Dr Soda.

Mr Chikoto said he had been able to take Minister Soda through the company’s modernisation trajectory.

“We are very happy that the Honourable Minister came to see our operations.

“We have just completed the digital transformation project, so we were able to show him the new newsroom.

“We were also able to show him our television studios, and he spoke at length about how Zimpapers and ZBC should collaborate,” he said.
