Skeem Saam actress Innocent Sadiki is celebrating a special milestone in her marriage as she and her husband, Phindulo Sadiki, mark 16 years of love and togetherness.
The actress and her husband, who is a pastor, producer and TV director, celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on Friday, October 23. The couple marked the occasion by sharing a joint Instagram post featuring beautiful pictures of themselves smiling together, with Innocent holding a bouquet of red roses.
Alongside the pictures, the couple reflected on their marriage and expressed gratitude for the years they have spent together. They wrote, “16years Married Today. It really feels like yesterday. I’m grateful to God for Blessing me with my Bubu. You are my husband, my problem, my stress, my headache and my friend.”
The heartfelt message offered a glimpse into their relationship, with the actress affectionately describing her husband as her partner, friend and even her headache.
Innocent also took to her Instagram Story to share another tribute celebrating their journey together. She highlighted the love, faith and purpose that have helped shape their marriage over the years.
“16 years of love, faith, partnership and purpose. Thank you for showing us what true love looks like – a love built on God, strengthened by grace, and growing stronger with each passing day,” she wrote.
Innocent and Phindulo tied the knot on October 23, 2010, and have since built a family together. The couple share two daughters, Emma Muelekanyi, who was born in 2011, and Ntombana Mukonanyi, who was born in October 2018.
The anniversary celebration comes just days after the actress celebrated another special family occasion, her daughter Ntombana’s eighth birthday.
Three days ago, Innocent shared a loving birthday message for her youngest daughter, reflecting on the joy she has brought into her life.
“On this day 8years ago at 7am I gave birth to @ntombanasadiki. Till this day, I ask myself how did I get BLESSED with such a remarkable gift. Happy Birthday @ntombanasadiki. I celebrate you my baby. I love you so much.”
The actress also showed appreciation for her twin sister, Millicent Mashile, for helping prepare Ntombana for her birthday photoshoot.
“Thank you @millymashile for taking her to do her hair and photoshoot. You the best mommy2.”
