HAS beauty queen Nicole Nyawera thrust herself among the hottest favourites for the Miss Supranational 2026 crown in Poland on Saturday?
She has a reason to believe she has done just that after winning the Miss Supranational 2026 Facebook Influencer regional award.
The Mutare-born registered nurse and certified paramedic has been enjoying a dream run since arriving in Poland, where she is flying the Zimbabwean flag against more than 60 of the world’s most beautiful women.
Her latest victory came after fans across the globe voted in huge numbers, making Nicole one of the five regional winners of the prestigious Facebook Influencer Challenge.
The achievement has instantly boosted Zimbabwe’s hopes of securing its first-ever Miss Supranational crown.
Nicole is currently in boot camp with contestants from across the globe in Nowy Sącz, Poland, where delegates have spent the past two weeks taking part in interviews, rehearsals, cultural tours, fashion presentations, charity visits and several fast-track competitions designed to test confidence, leadership and personality as much as beauty.
The countdown is now on for the Miss Supranational 2026 Grand Finale, which takes place this Saturday at the picturesque Strzelecki Park Amphitheatre in Nowy Sącz, where reigning queen Eduarda Braum of Brazil will crown her successor.
Before the final crowning moment, contestants will complete final rehearsals, stage presentations and judges’ interviews before the field is cut to the Top 24, Top 12 and eventually the Top Five.
Back home, Zimbabweans have erupted with excitement following Nicole’s latest achievement.
Social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages, with many describing her as “our queen”, “Zimbabwe’s pride” and “the woman bringing hope to the nation.”
Pageant enthusiasts believe the Facebook victory has given Nicole invaluable momentum.
“She’s been consistent from day one. Winning such a major challenge proves she has international support.
“We are behind her all the way,” posted one fan on social media.
Another fan wrote:
“Nicole is not just beautiful; she’s intelligent, humble and proudly Zimbabwean. We believe she can bring the crown home.”
Beauty pageant analysts say Nicole’s chances are bright.
Besides her elegance on stage, she has impressed many with her confidence, communication skills and inspiring personal story.
Away from the runway, Nicole works as a registered nurse in critical care and has dedicated her advocacy to maternal mental health, a cause that has resonated with many during the competition.
Zimbabwe has also become one of Africa’s fastest-rising pageant nations, producing strong performances on international stages over the past few years.
Nicole earned her ticket to Poland after being crowned Miss Supranational Zimbabwe 2026 during the spectacular Miss Universe Zimbabwe finals in Harare.
Founded in 2009, Miss Supranational has grown into one of the world’s premier beauty pageants, attracting contestants from over 60 countries and celebrating beauty, leadership, culture and humanitarian advocacy.
With one international title already in the bag before the final night, Zimbabweans will be watching closely this Saturday, hoping Nicole can complete a fairy-tale journey by bringing home one of the world’s biggest beauty crowns.
