DRUMS are beating louder as preparations heat up for the second edition of Isintu Fest UK, set to explode with Southern African flair on 19 July at Happyfields Animal Sanctuary in Birmingham.
With Afro-fusion star Hwabaraty, cultural queen Busi Mhlanga, and festival founder Sisa Senkosi already confirmed, organisers are promising a cultural spectacle like no other.
“We’re going bigger this year,” said Senkosi. “It’s our sixth overall edition, but our second UK outing. More acts are on the way once visas clear, and we’re packing the stage with African fire!”
The fest isn’t just about music. Expect mouth-watering dishes like inkobe, umxhanxa, and isitshwala samabele, plus stalls flaunting traditional artefacts, African fashion, and festival merch.
Attendees are urged to rock their best African attire, as the event dives deep into cultural storytelling, entrepreneurship and heritage pride.
From Botswana to Birmingham, the Isintu wave is going global.
Don’t just attend. Come dressed, come proud, come Isintu!
