POPULAR musician, Jah Prayzah has revealed that he was not a football fan until the emergence of Scottland.
The musician has appeared at Scottland’s high-profile matches at Rufaro, including the match against Harare City as they chased the Northern Region Soccer League title last year.
He was at the derby between Scottland and Dynamos wearing a replica shirt of the newboys. There have been questions about the team which Jah was supporting before the emergence of Scottland.
Jah has now told H-Metro he is supporting club owner Scoot Sakupwanya.
“I was not a soccer fan until Scottland. I am now supporting Scottland because Scott is my brother, and he has supported me in a big way.
“That is why I also support him and, in this case, Scottland.”
Jah was one of the headline acts when Scottland launched their 2025 kit in February, on the eve of a debut Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
In 2019, Jah released a single “Fambai Nebhora”, a dedication to the Warriors in their quest to conquer Africa.
At that time the Warriors had players like Knowledge Musona, George Chigova, Kuda Mahachi, Ronald Pfumbidzai, Ovidy Karuru, Evans Rusike, Edmore Sibanda, Nyasha Mushekwi, Tino Kadewere, Thabani Kamusoko and Marvelous Nakamba.
