TEN-YEAR-OLD model, Kaleisha Chiyaka has advanced to the Top 5 at the 4th edition for Kids and Teens Global Pageant in Kuala Lumpur.
Representing Zimbabwe as Mini Miss Global Zimbabwe, Kaleisha delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition, sweeping three major categories National Costume, Resort Wear, and Talent to secure her place among the top finalists.
The global competition brought together more than 40 contestants from across the world.
Kaleisha said it was an honour to showcase Zimbabwe’s rich culture, tourism and heritage.

During her interviews, the model said will use the platform to advocate for children’s rights.
“I will be showcasing our culture. I promise to bring the crown back home and make the nation proud. I started modelling at a young age and I would love to continue modelling part-time in the future, although I also aspire to become a gynaecologist,” she said.
Kaleisha said her participation carries a strong social message, as she seeks to raise awareness on children’s rights and speak out against abuse, child marriages and exploitation, while supporting vulnerable and underprivileged children.
A polyglot fluent in four languages, Kaleisha balances schoolwork with modelling, singing, and gaming.
She also uses her platform to advocate against bullying related to height and body image.

Kaleisha is currently the reigning Mini Miss Global Zimbabwe.
Kaleisha earned her national title through a school-introduced pageant, a pathway that has increasingly fostered young talent in Zimbabwe’s growing kids and teens modelling sector.
Her management said the benefits of participating in these competitions include enhanced reputation, increased visibility and credibility in the international entertainment industry, and potential revenue growth through sponsorships and endorsements.
“We believe that our models do not only showcase their talents but also promote Zimbabwe’s image and cultural heritage on this global platform,” said her team.
