Katakura, Mhandu for Botswana International X-Country

WORLD Cross Country Championships-bound Godwin Katakura and Caroline Mhandu are next month set to take part at the Botswana International Cross Country as part of their preparations.

The event is due to take place on December 13 in Modipane.

This is part of the World Athletics Cross Country Tour with a bronze status.

For Katakura and Mhandu, they are taking advantage of the competition to step up their preparations for the World Cross Country scheduled for January 10 in Tallahassee, Florida, United States.

The two earned their tickets to the world event when finishing first in the men and women’s 10km at the National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe Cross Country Championships held this month in Bindura.
