It’s official!
AmaPiano fans in Bulawayo — mark your calendars for August 11, as Mzansi’s most sought-after award-winning DJ and producer Kelvin Momo, is coming to town.
This will be Momo’s first-ever performance in the city of Kings, and he’s excited to bring his vibrant sounds at Cosmopolitan VIP Club just in time for the bustling Heroes Day celebrations.
The timing of his performance is an opportunity for fans to come together, celebrate their heroes.
As the anticipation builds, B-Metro caught up with Momo, who confirmed his appearance in the city.
“I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to finally be visiting Bulawayo. It’s always been a dream of mine to connect with my fans outside of South Africa, and I’m ready to make this night unforgettable,” said Momo.
To those who appreciate the Private school AmaPiano sound, the Momo gig is regarded as an event, which will attract the “who is who” in the city, as they enjoy an incredible fusion of Afro-house beats and melodic rhythms.
With his unique style, capturing the essence of the AmaPiano movement, Momo further said he’s eager to share the energy that made him a top-notch wheel spinner with the Bulawayo crowd.
“Most of my fans know my style of music. On my set, I want to create an atmosphere that transcends borders because music is universal. I understand it will be Heroes Day on that side, and I am even happier to be part of these crucial celebrations for Africa,” said Momo.
The VIP experience is not a Kelvin Momo show alone. He will be backed by another Mzansi equally-worthy DJ Tease, who will also perform before the main event at the Garden of House gig on August 10 set to be held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
“Having DJ Tease as my guest makes this event even more special. We have a great friendship and synergy in our music. Doing this with him will surely bring the house down,” said Momo.
