TWELVE-YEAR-OLD musician King Alfa Kadiki is celebrating a milestone after his latest song ‘Yadeuka Yadeuka’ clocked one million views on YouTube in just two weeks.
The young artist has thanked Zimbabweans for supporting his music.
“I would like to say thank you, Zimbabwe, for the love and support. I am very grateful for everyone who has been supporting my music,” Kadiki said.
King Alfa Kadiki said reaching one million views was a special achievement for him, particularly because of the short period in which the song attracted the numbers.
“I am happy that ‘Yadeuka Yadeuka’ has reached one million views in two weeks.
“This means a lot to me and I want to thank everyone who watched, shared and supported the song,” he said.
Produced by Major Terro, ‘Yadeuka Yadeuka’ is being pushed under the Matrix Music Movement, with Kadiki presenting himself as one of the young talents seeking to make a mark on the local music scene.
At only 12, the youngster has already attracted attention for his confidence and professional approach to music.
Kadiki said he was humbled by the response to the song and promised his supporters that he would continue putting effort into his work.
“I am very thankful for the love and support you have shown me. I promise to keep working hard and giving you more music,” he said.
The young musician also acknowledged that the milestone would not have been possible without the people who have continued to follow his journey. “To everyone who has been supporting me, thank you so much. I really appreciate you and I am grateful for your support,” Kadiki said.
His achievement has also attracted praise from established Zimbabwean hip-hop artiste Holy Ten, who described ‘Yadeuka Yadeuka’ as a masterpiece.
“This song is a masterpiece. Well done young man, clean visuals, clean presentation,” Holy Ten said.
Holy Ten also pledged his support for the young musician, adding that he hoped Kadiki’s talent would develop into something lasting.
“We will support you. May this talent turn into a generational success,” he said.
For Kadiki, the milestone represents more than just a YouTube figure.
It is an early indication that his music can connect with audiences despite his young age.
The youngster said he was looking forward to building on the momentum generated by ‘Yadeuka Yadeuka.’
“I just want to say thank you once again to everyone who made this possible. God bless you all. I appreciate the love and support,” he said.
With one million views already under his belt, King Alfa Kadiki now faces the challenge of maintaining the momentum while continuing to grow as a young artist.
