JUDICIAL Services Commission (JSC) employees in Manicaland have been praised for collectively ensuring high case clearance rates in all the courts within the province.
In her address during the provincial official opening of the 2026 legal year held at Mutare High Court in Mutare, Judge of the Constitutional Court, Justice Anne Marry Gorowa said: “As we formally usher in the 2026 legal year, may this occasion strengthen our collective resolve to uphold the Constitution, serve the public with integrity, and work together in advancing a justice system that remains fair, efficient and worthy of the confidence of the people of Zimbabwe.
“I want to thank all judicial officers and court staff in Mutare (Manicaland) for a job well done in ensuring smooth operation of the judicial activities over the past year. I encourage you to carry forward the same dedication and commitment as we embark on this new year,” said.
The 2026 theme for the JSC is: “Using performance management and technology to ensure quality, inclusive and sustainable judicial service:”
