Music fans are buzzing with excitement as contemporary artiste Jah Prayzah yesterday released a new song ahead of his highly anticipated album launch.
Titled “Kuno,” directed with care, and featuring a special appearance by Jah Prayzah’s daughter, Kayla, the song is giving fans a sneak peek into the album’s themes and sounds.
Released with visuals, “Kuno” is a story told through music, emotion, and timeless connection.
The video had attracted 151 000 views and 3 300 comments on You Tube in just nine hours of release.
The album “Ndini Mukudzei,” is set to be launched on May 3 at the Old Hararians Sports Club, and fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to experience Jah Prayzah’s music live.
Artists like Feli Nandi, Seh Calaz, Nisha Ts, Nyasha David and Shashl are some of the supporting acts who have been activated.
“Kuno is a heartfelt offering from the upcoming album Ndini Mukudzeyi. A song that speaks to love, legacy, and the bonds that remain unbroken, even beyond this life.
“This is the first full song released from the album, marking the beginning of a new and powerful journey,” he wrote on his page.
The new song has generated significant buzz, with many praising Jah Prayzah’s innovative approach to music and his decision to feature his daughter on the track.
“Just watched your video and I’m loving the Wagwizi vibes. Keep creating,” said one of his fans.
In preparation to the launch, Wagwizi, has released songs that includes “Fambai Neni” and “Mandionei” which are not part of the album.
He teased fans with “Ibvo” a snippet that has been trending on TikTok. The song is part of his 14th album.
“A spiritual offering ahead of the “Ndini Mukudzeyi” album launch and World Tour. Although it is not part of the upcoming album, this heartfelt piece is a vocal example of Jah Prayzah’s beliefs, ‘everything’ we do begins with Prayer,” he said when he released the song “Fambai Neni” a week ago.
After the launch, Jah Prayzah is set to tour the USA in Washington DC on July 4th, a federal holiday to celebrate America’s Independence.
He is billed to perform in Dallas on July 5th.
