LeeMcKrazy expected in Zimbabwe today for Gwanda event

South African Amapiano star Lee McKrazy is set to arrive in the country today ahead of his highly anticipated debut performance in Gwanda tonight. The Yebo hit-maker will clash on stage with ZimDancehall sensation Hulengende, creating a powerful fusion of AmaPiano and ZimDancehall for music lovers.

The line-up also features Malloti and Bry Eze, backed by DJs Rich Flavour, Ras Maboi, DJ Keitho, DJ Virus, Jaziri Brothers, DJ Tmmzy T and Scott Mangena.

For Gwanda, his appearance marks a continuation of the buzz created last month by his close friend Scotts Maphuma, who set the town on fire with a standout performance.

Hulengende, riding high with the hit Fadza Madzimai, will bring a strong ZimDancehall presence to the event, ensuring balance for fans who appreciate both genres.

Event organiser DJ Keitho said the decision to bring McKrazy was influenced by fan demand.
“We’re in the festive mood, and we listen to what the fans want. After we brought Scotts Maphuma last month, Amapiano fans suggested that we also bring Lee McKrazy because their styles complement each other,” said Keitho.

He added that blending Amapiano and ZimDancehall was intentional.
“In as much as many people love Amapiano, others appreciate ZimDancehall. That’s why the line-up is a fusion of both genres. We want everyone to have fun through a diverse and exciting show,” he said.
