DEPUTY Minister of Information communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Dingumuzi Phuti has encouraged parents to support the dreams of their children in order to foster a prosperous future.

Deputy Minister Phuti made the remarks where he was guest of honour at a Career Day event held at Gampu Primary School on Friday.

The pupils went all out as they dressed in their dream jobs that included and not limited to being a nurse, police, soldier, fire fighter, pilot and air hostess.

Throughout the proceedings, pupils were given life lessons by the local legislator, police and business people.

Deputy Minister Phuti said by nurturing the aspirations of the next generation, parents can play a pivotal role in shaping a brighter, more prosperous future for all.

“As parents we have a role to empower our children and unlock the future. Parents, encourage your child’s dreams and watch as they become the leaders, innovators and changemakers of tomorrow.

“Today we are here to celebrate their dreams and let’s do it with pride,” said Deputy Minister Phuti.
