FORMER Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie was treated to a surprise celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of her crowning as Miss South Africa 2015.
The surprise party was organised by Liesl’s husband Musa Mthobeni, who wanted to honour her achievement and celebrate her enduring beauty and legacy as a queen.
The event was attended by close friends and loved ones, who came together to show their appreciation for Liesl.
“I was very much on my way to my besties birthday party but it turns out all the special people in my life were in on surprising me with a party to celebrate 10 years since being crowned Miss SA!” Liesl recalled.
“Thank you to my people for putting all of this together and of course a special shout-out to my husband Musa — I appreciated you husband. Thank you. I spent time with almost every person at this celebration in the week leading up to the celebration and they said nothing.
“No one let anything slip, so you guys are all good liars and that’s scary but could also come in handy one day. God has truly blessed me with an amazing family and tribe. I love you all my cuties.” — Times.
