Lupane State University’s 16th graduation ceremony

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa will this Friday preside over the Lupane State University’s 16th graduation ceremony at the main campus in Lupane, Matabeleland North Province.

Established in 2004, LSU has an enrollment of 4 000 students with over 70 prgrammes in six facilities.

Former Zimpapers interns are among the graduands

The faculties are Agricultural Sciences, Environmental and Life Sciences, Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences, The Built Environment.

Among some of the notable faces graduating this Friday politicians Cde Emmanuel Sunduza(right) and Cde Brian Samuriwo(centre). Cde Sunduza is the Zanu PF Bulawayo Province secretary for security while Cde Samuriwo is the Zanu PF provincial chairperson for business development.

The university employs a staff complement of over 600 and operates from its main campus in Lupane.

Other notable figures that are graduating include Mr Mqhele Tshuma(left), the PRAZ communications manager and Mr Benkosi Maphosa, a local media personality.

Thousands of graduands are already seated at the main venue of the graduation ceremony while family and friends of the graduands are trickling in their thousands.
