The Queen of Pop is set to return to the music scene in a big way.
Madonna recently announced that she will be releasing a brand-new dance album in 2026, following her return to Warner Records, nearly two decades after leaving the label.
She took to Instagram to post: “Almost 2 decades later — And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music. Back to the Dance Floor. Back to where it all began! COADF — P. 2 2026.”
The announcement has fans buzzing with excitement.
@sondejch commented: “My Queen is back it’s about Time.”
Another fan wrote: “Words can’t express how exciting this news is!!!! Can’t wait!! We’re so ready to celebrate with you Queen!”
As per an online statement, the “Like A Virgin” singer wrote: “From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again, and in fact that couldn’t have been truer.”
She added, “Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me.
“I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”
This upcoming album will be Madonna’s first dance album in seven years and will see her teaming up again with DJ Stuart Price, who was behind her highly acclaimed album “Confessions on a Dance Floor”, released in 2005.
The dancing queen has been in the studio with him since late 2024, hinting that a sequel to her beloved “Confessions” might also be on the way.
The new album is set to arrive after her last release, “Madame X” from 2019.
Although she hasn’t revealed the exact title or release date yet, excitement is brewing amongst her fans who are already set to hit the dancefloor. — iolnews
