A 30-YEAR-OLD self-styled prophet, Madzibaba Luckymore Believe Mugabe, is on the run after being accused of raping a 59-year-old congregant.
He claimed he was comforting her following the death of her sister.
Madzibaba Luckymore, who is associated with the Johanne Masowe yeJerusalem Church in Mayambara Village, visited the grieving woman to console her.
During the visit, she requested a prayer.
The two sat together in her dining room.
Madzibaba Luckymore allegedly ordered her to mix cooking oil, milk and salt in a clay pot. After praying, he told her to take a bath and apply the mixture on her body.
He then entered her bedroom and raped her once without protection.
The woman reported the incident to the police and Madzibaba Luckymore is now on the run.
Although attempts to get a comment from the Harare provincial police spokesperson were unsuccessful, sources indicated that the case has been logged at St Mary’s Police Station under RRB 6657697.
Sometimes people should just be careful in order to avoid such situations. These things happen so many times and people still continue to believe in such “mysteries”?
