Mafikizolo, Murumba Pitch to headline Jacaranda Music Festival

South African music heavyweights Mafikizolo, The Soil, Murumba Pitch, and Vusi Nova have been confirmed as headline acts for this year’s Jacaranda Music Festival.

The festival, themed “Amplifying African Excellence”, will run from October 3 to 5 at Thorn Park Polo Grounds in Harare. — a venue now synonymous with the festival’s vibrant open-air experience.

Joining the star-studded lineup are locals Made Her Believe, Spunj, Ace Frvr, Agga Nyabinde, and ExQ.

Festival director Walter Wanyanya said preparations are well underway to deliver an unforgettable experience.
“Preparations for the Jacaranda Music Festival are going very well. Our team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything is on track, from artiste logistics and stage design to security, hospitality, and fan experience.
“This year, attendees can expect a vibrant mix of local and international acts, world-class sound production, and an atmosphere that truly celebrates music, culture, and community,” Wanyanya said.
“We’re expanding the festival experience with curated food stalls, interactive brand activations, and surprise pop-up moments throughout the weekend. It’s more than just a concert — it’s a cultural celebration,” he added.

He said the theme pays tribute to Africa’s artistic and creative richness.
