MAI NGAA says she has no intention of reuniting with her estranged husband Kapfupi and has backtracked on her claims she has now settled with another man.
The couple separated last year.
“People are spreading false information that I’ve reconciled with Kapfupi,” she told H-Metro.
“The names and accusations being hurled at me daily have been incredibly hurtful. I never married or developed
feelings for another man after my separation.
“These rumours are not just untrue; they are damaging.”
She said previous statements, which she made, suggesting she had moved in with another man, were not true.
“I said those things out of frustration.
I want to be clear, I am not married to anyone, nor am I attracted to any married man, as alleged.”
Mai Ngaa said she was now enduring relentless harassment online from people who were spreading a lot of falsehoods about her.
She is currently staying with her parents and said her main focus right now was to try and rebuild her life.
She hopes that by putting the record straight, she can find some peace amid the chaos.
“I just want to move on and live without the weight of these false accusations,” she said.
Kapfupi accused her of dumping him to live with another man.
He described Mai Ngaa as a “prostitute” after she dumped him at 1am and walked into the arms of her lover, whom
he identified as Tonderai.
Mai Ngaa also took their four kids— Loice, Stella, Freddie Jnr and Bea —along with her, leaving Kapfupi a lonely
and broken man at his home.
Kapfupi has two other kids from a previous marriage to Margaret Gejo.
He claimed Mai Ngaa deceived him by saving her lover’s name in her phone as “Yeukai” to give an impression that
the contact was a female friend.
“In her phone, she saved his name as Yeukai but his name is Tonderai.
“She was even telling him bharanzi achikarara.
“It’s something that shocked me.
“She was a person I trusted, a person I thought we would be together even in old age.
“She was confused by someone who gave her whatever confused her until she fled from me at 1am.
“I have all the V11s.”
However, a few months down the line, Kapfupi is yet to produce the explosive evidence he claimed was in his possession.
In her defence, Mai Ngaa said she could not stand her husband’s drinking habits and said things had become so
bad Kapfupi even ate their baby’s poor in a fit of rage.
“He went and lifted the kids’ pot…he took the poo of the kid using his hand and ate it,” said Mai Nga.
“I have the video in my phone.
“He said he wanted to show me that he was s**t.”
Mai Ngaa said she could not understand how a normal human could do such a thing and from there, onwards,
nothing was ever the same.
Amazingly, Kapfupi said it was true.
“Good, she has finally opened up now.
“Yes, I ate the poo.”
He said it was his bizarre way of managing his anger.
