A total of 4,500 residential stands and 16 high-rise flats will be constructed in Vulindlela Township, Umguza district, with occupation only permitted after the site has been fully serviced.

GG Property Developers co-director, Mr Dumezweni Sandi, shared the project outline during the World Habitat Day commemorations held today.

The event was graced by the Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, Zhemu Soda.
“We will also have a fully equipped hospital, shopping mall, education, and recreation facilities where we intend to build two secondary schools and four primary schools,” said Mr Sandi.

He emphasised that the project is critical in addressing the urban crisis through rural development.
Mr Sandi reiterated that the stands will be fully serviced before occupation and that the project will apply densification, use renewable energy, and focus on innovation and sustainability.
“There is guaranteed security of tenure,” said Mr. Sandi.
