A MAN has cut off his wife’s nose in an ugly row over his lover.
Tatenda Chimutanda, 31, is said to have been caught by his wife, Emily Kasinaubare, 30, while he was in a compromising position with his girlfriend.
Emily confronted Tatenda and a scuffle ensued.
Tatenda broke a beer bottle and sliced Emily, the mother of his two children aged 6 and 7, before fleeing the scene.
Emily was rushed to a private hospital in Glen Norah where she was treated.
Emily told H-Metro that she has been living a miserable life and she has suffered a lot of abuse from her husband in the past seven years.
“Tatenda has been cheating on me for some time.

“I did not decide to lodge a police report against him for the sake of my children.
“I have decided to quit the marriage to allow him to continue with his immorality and save my life.
“When I really look at all this I get the impression that he was after my life and I want to stay away from him.
“He has been sending messages seeking forgiveness,” said Emily.
Tatenda could not be reached for his side of the story.
He was reported to have sought refuge at his sister’s house in Chitungwiza.
