Man steals two cows from employer

A 40-year-old man has been dragged to court by his employer over allegations of stealing two cows.
Jabulani Moyo of Mbonqane area, appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Mr Jeconia Prince Ncube, facing a charge of stock theft.

He was remanded in custody to December 18.

Prosecutor, Ms Cathrine Kuzu, told the court that the complainant is the employer of the accused person.
Sometime in October this year, Moyo allegedly took two cows belonging to Thandazani Moyo without his knowledge or authority.

The court heard that the complainant discovered that his two cows were missing in December.

Investigations were carried out, leading to the arrest of the accused person.

The value of the stolen cows is US$800 and nothing was recovered, said Ms Kuzu.
