MARC GUEHI has become Manchester City’s second-highest earner at the Etihad.

The England centre-back, 25, completed his £20million transfer from Crystal Palace on Monday.

And he put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year contract worth a whopping £300,000 per week.

City were willing to offer Guehi the mammoth deal because of the relatively modest transfer fee paid to the Eagles as his Selhurst Park contract expired at the end of the season.

Only Erling Haaland on an astronomical £525,000 per week earns more than Guehi in Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Guehi’s £300,000 is matched by Bernardo Silva with Omar Marmoush just behind on £295,000.

John Stones, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Ruben Dias all pocket a cool £250,000 every week, according to Spotrac figures.

Tijjani Reijnders (£230k), Phil Foden (£225k) and Rodri (£220k) earn north of the £200,000-per-week figure Josko Gvardiol gets.

Further down the list, Guehi’s fellow January arrival Antoine Semenyo’s contract is for £150,000 per week.

Back-up goalkeepers Stefan Ortega and James Trafford are on £90,000 and £50,000 respectively.

That puts Trafford level with Oscar Bobb, Abdukodir Khusanov and − surprisingly − Jeremy Doku.

Academy graduates Nico O’Reilly (£30,000) and Rico Lewis (£25,000) are the lowest earners in the senior squad.

City pipped Liverpool to the signing of Guehi, with a deal to the Reds collapsing on deadline day last summer.

But the former Eagles captain could not hide his delight at linking up with Guardiola – with City still in the hunt for four trophies this season.

Guehi, who lifted the FA Cup for Palace last May after beating City in the Wembley final, said: “I am really happy and incredibly proud to be a Manchester City player.

“This move feels like the culmination of all the hard work I have put into my career.
