Zimdancehall stars will tomorrow take turns to perform at Freeman’s “Varidzi Vezvinhu” album launch to be held at Club Super Label.
Seh Calaz, Guspy Warrior, Shinsoman, Killer T, Lady Squanda and Kinna are some of the artists billed to perform.
In an intherview with The Herald Entertainment, the HKD boss said he was happy to be launching his fifth album saying he will continue working on albums rather than singles.
“Being able to release albums every year is a good sign for me because it shows maturity in the industry. It is not easy to come up with an album but I am managing it since I ventured on the showbiz scene,” he said.
He said he is promising a funfilled event to all the Dangerzone and Zimdancehall fans since there would be many performers on the night.
“We have been rehearsing for the day since it means a lot to us and all I can say is people must come in numbers to party and celebrate with us on Saturday,” he said.
He also said besides the new album he also have a number of new stuff for the year 2015.
“We are still in the industry and music is my life so have a lot instore for 2015,” he said.
The album is Freeman’s firth release after “Tapinda Mustaeera”, “Last Man Standing” “VaBeliever” and “New Chapter”.
Meanwhile, the “Joina City” hit-maker has been nominated six times for the Zimdancehall awards to be held on March 6 with the album “Varidzi Vezvinhu” also being nominated for the Best Album.
It will be battling it out with Sniper Storm’s “Silver Bullet”, Guspy Warrior’s “Wedzera Mawatts”, Rick Fire’s “There is no Danger” and Kinnah’s “Still Young”.
He was also nominated for the Best Collaboration for the song “Tapinda muSummer Time” with Seh Calaz; Best Dressed Artiste; Zimdancehall Ambassador; and his video for the song “Ruoko Rwangu” was nominated for the Best Video of the year.
