NKAYI-based musician Sikhosana Buhlungu has secured his inaugural brand ambassador role with Umthwakazi Funerals Pvt Ltd.

The signing ceremony held at DAB Three Studios in Bulawayo on Wednesday saw representatives from both entities present.

Sikhosana’s manager, Marshal Mpofu, expressed delight at the recognition of local talent from the Matabeleland region, citing it as a positive step towards amplifying the visibility of artists from the area.

“We’re thrilled that a Matabeleland company actively engages with local artistes, acknowledging their talent from the region. Our aspiration is that this collaboration doesn’t end here. We aim to move forward and witness more brands supporting our local artistes, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve,” stated Mpofu.

Umthwakazi Funerals director, Jeffrey Moyo, highlighted the mutual benefits of the partnership, emphasising its potential to enhance both the artiste’s profile and the company’s visibility as an emerging brand.

“As a brand, we hope to grow together with Sikhosana Buhlungu. This brand partnership will help us reach all corners of the country, fostering a lasting relationship,” commented Moyo.

Sikhosana Buhlungu, who recently released a single “True Love”, has a diverse music catalogue that includes tracks like runaway hit “Isomiso”, “Dlala Ntethe” and “Khiwa”.
