Globetrotting Afrocentric music outfit Matojeni Melo Maniacs (MMM) are set to release visuals for their latest single, eLondon on January 1, a great gift to their fans in celebrating the New Year.

MMM director Blessings Nqo said the song tells the humorous yet relatable story of someone who dreams of travelling to London but lacks the financial means, leaving their own two feet as the only “affordable” mode of transport.

He said eLondon was created during the group’s recent European tour, which ran from June to early October.
“We composed the song during our tour, and the chemistry was strong. We’re excited for the fans to hear it because we have put our all in this project.
“Upon the group’s return home from a successful tour in Europe, we also managed to shoot a music video for the song, which has clean visuals,” said Nqo.

Nqo revealed that they are looking forward to touring the world once more in 2026, as they have a lot of projects lined up for the year.

MMM is made up of five versatile artistes, Thandeka Patricia “Thandy Dhlana” Jele, Gugulethu “Gugue” Sibanda, Cheryl Mabaya, Mthabisi Moyo, and Bekezela “Sjure” Siziba, whose combined talents bring a culturally rich and cohesive performance style.
