MINNIE DLAMINI JOINS GAGASI FM

TV and radio star Minnie Dlamini has made a big comeback to the airwaves! She announced this week that she’s officially joining the Durban-based radio station, Gagasi FM. This exciting news comes after the departure of popular radio host Thandi Mhlongo.

Minnie shared the big update on her Instagram account on Tuesday, 17 June. In a video taken at the beach, she joyfully declared: “Durban, I’m home. For a brand new chapter.”

She will be teaming up with well-known DJs, DJ Naves and DJ Sphectacula (DJ Spectacular), on The Gagasi Fast Lane show, which airs weekdays from 3 to 6 PM.

Posting about the news, Minnie wrote: “Durban, I’m home for a brand new chapter. Join @sphectacula & @djnaves on @thegagasifastlane. Daily 3-6 pm only on @gagasifm. #BackOnRadio.”

Fans and fellow celebs were quick to show their love and support in the comments. Actress Khanya Mkangisa said: “Congratulations baby! Also, how wholesome is this video?”

Rapper Gigi Lamayne commented: “Congratulations Wele! Big win!” Social media user Zistolive added: “This is a perfect fit. I can’t wait to listen. Congratulations gorgeous.”

Another fan, ludu_blaq, shared: “I don’t listen to iGagasi but I’m gonna start now because of you.”

This announcement came just a day after Minnie shared a touching tribute to her father for Father’s Day. She posted photos and videos of him and thanked him for the role he’s played in her life and as a grandfather.

“Happy Father’s Day to the greatest dad I could’ve ever asked for,” she wrote. “God blessed me with a man who showed me how to stand up and show up for my family, to lead with strength, purpose, and love.”

She also thanked him for helping raise her son, saying: “Just a tiny sprinkle of the magic you gave me. I know my son will be great. #HappyFathersDay.” — OK.
