MISS Cosmo Zimbabwe, Lisa Sibanda, said she has always been passionate about the power of fashion to unite and inspire.
For her, the Cosmo era represents a celebration of beauty in all its forms, a fusion of art, history, and modern expression that honours the unique legacies of individuals from around the world.
She is currently competing with over 50 contestants from around the world for the Miss Cosmo pageant.
This is the second edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant and it will be held at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on December 20.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Sibanda said she was ready to take on the challenge of representing her country on the global stage.
“I am ready for this task and I need all the support as I will be representing my nation.
“I hope I make Zimbabwe proud on the international stage. I’m proud of our country, I’m proudly Zimbabwean, and I’m excited to showcase our culture and heritage to the world.
“Carrying the whole country on my shoulders is a big responsibility, but I’m confident that with the support I’ve been receiving, I’ll do great,” she said.
She spoke about her vision for the Cosmo era.
“As Miss Cosmo Zimbabwe, I am inspired by how fashion can weave together stories from across the world, blending art, history, and modern expression into something graceful and powerful. This is what the Cosmo era represents, beauty that honours our unique legacies while connecting us all.”
Her participation is expected to promote Zimbabwe’s culture and heritage, with many people around the world learning about the country’s rich traditions.
The 33 years old, is a qualified Attorney and the producer of Legally Speaking Zimbabwe – a platform dedicated to making the law accessible and empowering communities through legal education.
Crowned Miss Cosmo Zimbabwe 2025 and 1st Runner-Up at Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, she advocates for children’s rights and women’s empowerment, using her influence to align beauty with purpose and public impact.
