Miss Universe Zimbabwe Lyshanda Moyas off to Thailand

Reigning Miss Universe Zimbabwe Lyshanda Moyas has vowed to do her best at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand next month.

The 26-year-old model was speaking just before her departure for Thailand this afternoon.

She was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Miss Universe Zimbabwe board and executives.

A group of young mothers from Munondida Foundation also bid farewell to the beauty queen.

Moyas will join 89 other contestants from all over the world in a bootcamp that begins tomorrow.

“I am happy to be representing Zimbabwe, thank you for supporting me. I have worked with a lot of designers on my wardrobe and l have a surprise for Zimbabweans,” she said.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 Sakhile Dube who finished in top 30 last year shared some tips and said she is confident that Moyas will bring the crown home.

“All eyes are on Moyas and we are very confident that she will win,” said Dube.
