Model (23) eyes sixth title

Harare model, Christine Ngoshi, is only 23, but she is way beyond her generation.

Her script is not only about stunning looks, but a true definition of beauty with brains. Everything she touches turns to gold. Her vision is strong, while her set goals are realistic.

Now that she has reached the peak of her career, Christine’s pledge to give back to the community is beginning to take shape.

Her movement — dubbed Supporting Abusive Free Environment (SAFE) — has been hailed for addressing the plight of young girls and women.

“Besides being a model, I am also a student, entrepreneur and the founder of an organisation (SAFE), which advocates for women empowerment and campaigns against gender-based violence,” she proudly mentioned.

“The abuse of young women and girls has reached alarming levels, and it is up to us to address such matters urgently.

“Using my influence, I will continue doing my job and initiatives to give girls a voice to be heard. The plight of young girls really touches my heart.”

In pageantry, Christine is not just adding to the numbers — she has become a winner, with six titles now on the radar.

She has also made herself proud at home and overseas by amassing titles.

“I am a model by profession, and I have won several titles, including Miss Zambia-Zimbabwe 2024, Miss Universal Woman Zimbabwe second runner-up 2024, and Miss Elite Global Zimbabwe 2025, which earned me a ticket to travel to India, where I later placed as Miss Congeniality.

“I also won Miss Simba Bhora last year in Shamva, which is quite pleasing,” narrated Christine.

Determined to add more titles, Christine believes her trophy cabinet is not yet full, as she dreams bigger.

“Currently, I am competing for Miss Heritage Global Zimbabwe, which will be held on June 27, 2026. It is such an honour to be selected among the group competing for this pageant.

“For me, competing in this competition is not only about wearing the crown. For a girl who was raised in a society where violence was a norm, I have set myself the task to stand up and advocate for this pandemic to come to an end.

“So Miss Heritage Global Zimbabwe is a platform for my voice to be heard and to help the victims affected by this issue.”

She added: “By the way, I am not only advocating for the safety of victims — I also have the less privileged at heart. I give back to the community, and the last place I visited and made a donation was Jairos Jiri.

“During my visit at the centre, I donated essential items such as blankets, mosquito nets and bedding materials to less privileged children.

“My next stop is in Mbare, where I will donate some clothes and food hampers to the children and women involved in early child marriages. These are some of the prevalent issues in Mbare, where I am working with a group of young women and girls, teaching them their rights.”

Christine says she is still hungry for more and her wish is to become a game-changer in many facets and change the narrative that modelling is only for loose women — when in reality, models are real influencers.

In her case, she has managed to touch the hearts of many through her charity work, while modelling enthusiasts have endorsed her wherever she performs.

A focused young lady, Christine is determined to continue shining by following her heart in whatever she does.

To Christine, modelling is not only a profession, but a special calling from God to change lives.
