THE major winners of the 2025 Harare Cup Clash, Mogo Vibes and Lady D, are looking for help to develop their residential stands in Donnybrook, Harare.
The pair received title deeds for their stands on Wednesday.
The stands were donated by Prophet Kudakwashe Jose of Victorious Generation International Church.
The clergyman sponsored the main category of the 2025 Harare Cup clash and the winners got stands valued at US$10,000 each.
He said it is part of his church’s initiative to support Government efforts in combating drug and substance abuse.
Mogo Vibes said:
“I have faith that the structure will be completed soon and I am appealing to well-wishers to come on board and help.
“This milestone means a lot to the youths and all creatives out there. It symbolises what I stand for and believe.
“My dream and conviction is that this ground will soon have a permanent structure. It’s a dream come true for me, and I am ready for anyone to contribute.”
The 24-year-old father of two shared his long-standing desire to provide decent shelter for his family.
“Having a proper home has always been my wish, and this gesture is more than enough for me.
“I want to relocate to Harare with my family and I am grateful for this opportunity.
“I welcome anyone or any organisation willing to assist me in achieving this goal.”
Lady D said:
“It’s still early days to reveal when I will start developing it and it feels like a dream for us.
“To be honest, I don’t have a specific timeline as to when I will start the development but it has always been my dream to do so as soon as possible.
“We welcome well-wishers and those who genuinely want to assist us.”
Lady D, who earns a living as a hairdresser, is eager to move out of Mbare.
“I live in Mbare with my husband and two children and it’s where I also work as a hairdresser.
“My husband, who is a musician, sells shoes in the same area.
“This has been our way of life for years and we hope to improve our situation.
“Any help from individuals or organisations to develop the area is greatly appreciated.”
