Siwelele FC midfielder Relebogile Mokhuoane has found himself at the centre of serious abuse allegations after a series of disturbing posts went viral on social media at the weekend.
An unnamed woman, who claims to be Mokhuoane’s ex-girlfriend, shared graphic images and WhatsApp screenshots, accusing the footballer of physical and sexual abuse that allegedly resulted in a miscarriage.
In one post, the woman wrote: “So let’s just take a moment to remember the ones who experienced abuse in silence. Protecting their abuser in the name of love.”
Another chilling post showed a towel and pillow on the floor, with the caption: “You laid me down on the floor and told me to perform things on you. And again, not even my tears could stop you. You slept with me till I bled and I had to clean up my blood.”
In a third post, she alleged that the abuse led to the loss of her pregnancy: “Tell the world how you beat me up while pregnant and killed your kid.”
The shocking nature of the posts has sparked public outrage, with many social media users calling for answers and a formal investigation.
When approached for comment, Siwelele FC GM Coltrane Munyai said the club was aware of the situation.
“We are aware of the viral post and as a team, we are busy with an investigation … but we can’t comment any further,” Munyai told TshisaLIVE.
Efforts to reach Mokhuoane for comment were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
No formal charges have yet been laid, and the identity of the woman has not been made public − Times.
