Globetrotting Afro-fusion outfit Mokoomba is set to embark on its final international tour of 2025, with a string of performances lined up across Austria, Germany, and Sweden next month.
The all-male band from Chinotimba, Victoria Falls, celebrated for their high-energy performances and genre-blending sound, will wrap up a busy year on the global stage after earlier tours that took them to Portugal, Germany, and Spain.
The upcoming tour kicks off on November 1 at the Victoria Theatre in Malmo, Sweden. From there, the group will head to Ampere in Munich, Germany on November 6, before taking part in the Selam Festival in Stockholm, Sweden on November 7.
Their European adventure continues on November 8 at Treibhaus in Innsbruck, Austria, and concludes on November 14 with a show at Trans Vocal in Frankfurt Oder, Germany.

Mokoomba’s guitarist and backing vocalist, Trust Samende, expressed disappointment that the band will not be performing in South Africa as initially planned.
“We’re preparing for our last tour this year in Europe. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling clash, we’re no longer able to do the gig in Johannesburg on October 25,” said Samende.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank the hosts for their understanding. We’ll reschedule the performance to honour our fans in South Africa.”
Samende added that the band will soon announce their year-end concerts in Zimbabwe, marking a homecoming after months on the road.
Formed in 2002, Mokoomba has built a reputation as one of Zimbabwe’s most successful musical exports. Their sound fuses traditional rhythms from the Tonga people with elements of funk, reggae, soukous, and Afro-beats, creating a vibrant global appeal.
The band’s line-up includes Mathias Muzaza (lead vocals), Trust Samende (lead guitar and backing vocals), Abundance Mutori (bass guitar and backing vocals), Donald Moyo (keyboards and backing vocals), Ndaba Coster Moyo (drums and backing vocals), and Miti Mugande (percussion and backing vocals).
