ADDITIONAL channels have been added to several DStv packages, expanding the level of information, education and entertainment available to viewers.
Siyabulela Jemsana, general manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the additional channels would be added from June 1 to strengthen the content range available to subscribers of DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family, Access and Lite packages, enhancing viewer satisfaction.
“The content available on DStv packages is continuously monitored and changes are made from time to time to enhance enjoyment of these packages and this is what will happen from June 1 on several of them,” he said.
“The key focus is to give our customers access to more content, thus increasing their options for entertainment.”
Two new channels were added to DStv Compact Plus, which now offers 110 channels, while five additional channels have gone have been included on DStv Compact, which now has 90 channels. Similar increases have been made to DStv Family, which now has 70 channels with the inclusion of nine channels and with DStv Access, which goes to 50 channels with 13 additions.
The entry-level package, DStv Lite, has been strengthened with the addition of 19 channels to reach a package of 25 channels.
“This is a positive development for our subscribers as the addition of these channels is poised to offer a wider array of entertainment for the entire family ensuring there is something for everyone,” said Mr Jemsana.
The addition of channels to the various packages has been undertaken to apply content and variety increase and in recognition of the needs of viewers across a wide range of ages. — Agency
