Munhumutapa Cup Draw Set For Next Wednesday

THE Round of 32 draw of the 2026 Munhumutapa Challenge Cup will take place in Harare next Wednesday.
It will feature 18 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League sides and 14 from the lower divisions.
Zifa Media confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.

“We will have the draw for the men’s competition and one for women featuring 32 clubs as well after the preliminaries. The 14 slots for the men’s competition were concluded at the weekend with the winners joining the 18 Premier Soccer League clubs for the Round of 32,” said Zifa in a statement.

The Munhumutapa Challenge Cup launched early this year is the equivalent of the Football Association Cup whose winners qualify for the CAF Confederations Cup. It has teams from Area Zone, all Divisions taking part in preliminary stages with the last 14 added to the Premier Soccer League’s 18.
