SEASONED squash administrator Nyshto Munyoro has been appointed Africa Squash Federation committee member and will serve for the next three years.
Munyoro, a Squash Rackets Association of Zimbabwe (SRAZ) member, was appointed by the 18 member Africa Squash Federation.
“I currently serve as the National Coordinator for SRAZ, a role also referred to as the Administration Secretary.
“In addition to this, I am honoured to be part of the Squash Federation of Africa’s Technical Committee.
“The Technical Committee is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical and developmental aspects of squash across the continent, including standards, competitions, and growth initiatives.”
He added:
“Being appointed to this committee for the 2026 – 2029 term is a significant milestone for me.
“It gives me the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced and respected figures in world squash and gain valuable continental-level experience.
“Most importantly, to bring that knowledge back home to support the growth and development of squash in my country.”
Munyoro comes in to represent the country as our own Lucky Mlilo is the outgoing president and was replaced by Zambian, Felix Chilufya and will be depurtised by Jahan Attah of Nigeria.
Mlilo was appointed in 2021 and was also part of the World Squash Federation.
The committee members who will come in with Munyoro includes James Fayiya (Sierra Leone), Mohamed Elkeiy (Eggypt), Alister Walker (Botswana), Koketso Ntshebe (Botswana) Crispin Mupeta (Zambia) and Amna el Tarabolsy from Egypt come in as the executive board liason officer.
