UPCOMING singer, songwriter, and make-up artist, Marcia ‘Musikana Mutema’ Samuriwo, said it is difficult to secure reputable management and build a good career.
Musikana Mutema has been trying to make a name for herself in the music industry for a little while now.
Despite her talent and dedication, she has struggled to find a manager who genuinely believes in her art.
‘Musikana Mutema’ recently released a single “Muroora,” featuring Erme Icey.
The music diva said she will continue to carve her own path in music as one of the youngest female singers.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, the 21-year-old artist spoke candidly about working on her debut album.
“At the moment my focus is on releasing new music and expanding my reach through strategic partnerships and marketing.
“I also aim to establish myself as a leading artist in my genre and tour internationally.
“I’m seeking sponsorship to support these efforts and I believe it would be a valuable investment in my career.”
With a passion for storytelling, and connecting with others through melody and lyrics, she has been driven to succeed in the music industry through hard work and dedication.
“My music is deeply rooted in my passion for storytelling and connecting with others through melody and lyrics. I’d describe my sound as a fusion of genres with a unique blend of instruments/vocals.
“I’m excited to share my music with a wider audience and believe it has the potential to resonate with fans worldwide.
“With a background in music education/training, I’ve been driven to succeed in the industry through hard work and dedication.
“I’m motivated by the opportunity to share my music with others and make a lasting impact.
“I’m fueled by my passion for music and the desire to connect with others. When faced with challenges, I draw inspiration from my experiences, peers, and mentors.
“I’m committed to continually improving my craft and staying true to my artistic vision.”
Musikana Mutema has so far released songs like “Taking over,” “My Bebe,” “Pauchazocheuka” featuring Maera, “Giving My Love” featuring Golden Boy, and “Ukudei,” featuring Ngwere Yekwa Mutoko.
