Naledi Aphiwe has every reason to sing along to Ari Lennox’s “New Apartment” after finally getting the keys to a space that she can call her own.
The singer recently gave fans a first glimpse inside her new apartment, revealing the glamorous space that she has been working on behind the scenes.
While the apartment is still a work in progress, the first reveal already shows a modern luxury aesthetic with elegant finishes, neutral tones and carefully curated furniture that reflects the singer’s personal style.
Taking to Instagram, Aphiwe shared how emotional it was finally seeing the apartment come together after watching the transformation from start to finish.
“Finally seeing my place in person was such an emotional moment. After everything it took to get here, walking through these doors made it all feel real. This is only the beginning, but I’m already so in love with how it’s coming together,” she wrote.
She also thanked interior design company Mazuri Interior for helping turn her vision into reality.
“A huge thank you to @mazuriinterior for bringing my vision to life with so much care and attention to detail. You truly transformed this space into something beautiful, and I can’t wait to make it a home.
“Welcome to Part 1 of my apartment tour. There’s still so much more to show you, and I’m so excited to take you along on this journey.”
In the video, she takes viewers through the lounge and gives a sneak preview of the kitchen space. She goes on to show the main bedroom before moving to the guest bedroom.
Before unveiling the finished space, Mazuri Interior had already shared a behind-the-scenes look at the project on social media, showing Aphiwe walking through the empty apartment while imagining what it would eventually become.
The company is no stranger to creating standout spaces, having also designed award-winning content creator Banele “Moghelingz” Ndaba’s personal sanctuary and bedroom with custom furniture and a personalised aesthetic.
The apartment reveal comes just months after Aphiwe celebrated another proud achievement when she renovated her parents’ home in KwaZulu-Natal.
At the time, the young singer gave supporters a tour of the upgraded family home, showcasing the revamped kitchen and living room while thanking those who have supported her career.
“Renovated my home; I’m so proud of myself. Big girl, big moves. Please continue supporting me ngizowenza okukhulu kakhulu ekhaya (I will do more at home). I wouldn’t have been here if you guys weren’t here to support me,” she wrote – IOL.
