THE National Multi-Faith Economic Dialogue (NAMFED) has announced preparations for the One Million Men Prayer in Harare, a mass convergence of believers aimed at aligning religious solidarity with Zimbabwe’s developmental agenda under Vision 2030.

In an interview with Zimpapers, NAMFED founder and chief convener, Mr Obey Mapuranga, emphasised a collective voice as integral to sustaining the Vision 2030’s fruition.

He said uninterrupted presidential stewardship is vital for Zimbabwe to achieve its upper-middle-income status.

“We pray for the continued visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Dr ED Mnangagwa, beyond the projected date.

“We pray for the nation’s continuous prosperity through the President’s unwavering commitment to the economic emancipation of our people,” said Mr Mapuranga.

Mr Mapuranga said that consultations are underway for the One Million Men Prayer, scheduled for 2026.

In this regard, Mr Mapuranga said NAMFED’s influence, extending across all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe, is preparing for further monumental convergence.

“NAMFED is leading the push for a World Religious Business Conference (WRBC) in the scenic environs of Victoria Falls early in 2026,” said Mr Mapuranga.
