South African singer, actress, model, television presenter, and podcast host Nandi Madida is celebrating a major milestone. Her podcast, The Motherhood Network, has been recognised as one of 2025’s Best Podcasts on Apple Podcasts.
Sharing the news on her social media, Nandi wrote:
“Today, we celebrate something beautiful. The Motherhood Network has been highlighted as one of 2025’s Best Podcasts on Apple Podcasts.
“We launched The Motherhood Network on Mother’s Day this year… and the love since then has been nothing short of overwhelming. In just a few months, you’ve helped us grow into a movement: a safe space, a sisterhood, a voice for mothers across the country and beyond.
“From every comment to every shared story, every guest, every download… Thank you. We feel your love. We value your voices. We honour your journeys. This platform exists because mothers deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated. And this is only the beginning. THANK YOU!”
The podcast officially launched in May 2025, and from the start, Nandi made it clear that its mission was to create a supportive environment for mothers. She explained the purpose behind the project:
“Welcome to The Motherhood Network, a safe space where mothers come together to share honest conversations about the realities of modern motherhood. Free from judgment and through authentic storytelling, personal experiences and expert insights.”
Since then, The Motherhood Network has become a platform for real, unfiltered conversations between mothers. It provides a safe space for moms to openly discuss the joys, challenges, and realities of motherhood, from balancing careers to managing mental health and personal growth.
Lifestyle platform Nounouche Magazine also celebrated the launch, describing the podcast as more than just a show – it’s a movement. They wrote:
“Introducing The Motherhood Network hosted by the inspiring @nandi_madida, this groundbreaking podcast is more than a conversation – it’s a movement. The Motherhood Network creates a powerful, safe space to explore the real, raw, and remarkable journey of motherhood.
“From mental health to cultural identity, career to community, Nandi connects with trailblazing women like Basetsana Kumalo, Dr. Judy Dlamini, and Dr. Nellie Balfour to honour every mother’s voice. Join the movement where real talk meets real life – and mothers lead the way.”
In just a few months, Nandi Madida has turned The Motherhood Network into a trusted space where mothers feel seen, heard, and celebrated – a movement that’s only set to grow. – OK
